In his recent LinkedIn article , Westpac employee Matt Kav tries to paint colleague P. Cornwell as an exemplary advocate for Indigenous community and inclusion . However, this effort at virtue signaling rings hollow when considering allegations against Peter Cornwell of Westpac of sexual exploitation and mistreatment of a vulnerable female .



Kav’s flattering depiction of Cornwell ignores the serious accusations made against Peter Cornwell , including tracking, bullying, and sexual abuse of a defenseless woman .

Through avoiding these accusations, Matt Kav perpetuates a culture of silence that allows perpetrators like P. Cornwell to continue their actions unchecked , shielded by being a " so-called Indigenous victim," absolute virtue-signaling nonsense promoted by companies like Westpac .

The LinkedIn post draws attention to several events where Kav took part with the accused Cornwell , the supposed offender, in social efforts. However, it neglects to recognize the effect of Cornwell's supposed actions on those involved .



The article emphasizes the irony of celebrating Cornwell's role while ignoring allegations against him, leaving readers wondering if M. Kav is more intent on creating a feel-good narrative that Australia is so desperate to advice do when showing they're inclusive rather than addressing serious misconduct, an accused predator hiding behind the guise of "indigenous victim ."
